The Nigeria Aviation Hall of Fame and Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited have partnered to preserve the history and recognise the contributions of pioneers who helped shape Nigeria’s aviation industry.

The two organisations signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Monday for the joint hosting and management of a permanent wall of honour, known as the NAHF Montage, at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two in Lagos.

The montage will feature photographs, profiles and citations of distinguished Nigerian aviators whose careers and contributions have influenced the development of the sector.

Under the agreement, Bi-Courtney Aviation Services will provide space, security and maintenance for the display, while the Nigeria Aviation Hall of Fame will handle content selection, updates and the induction process.

NAHF Co-Founder, Wole Shadare, said the initiative was created to ensure that aviation professionals who contributed to the growth of the industry are remembered and recognised.

Another co-founder, Gboyega Adeoye, said the project would preserve Nigeria’s aviation history while inspiring young people interested in building careers in the sector.

Representing Bi-Courtney at the signing, Head of Marketing and Creative Services, Gbubemi Aibangbee, said placing the montage at MMA2 would allow millions of passengers to see the stories of professionals who laid the foundation for Nigerian aviation.

The partnership comes ahead of the maiden induction ceremony of the Nigeria Aviation Hall of Fame, with 18 aviators selected for recognition based on their service, integrity, leadership and contributions to the industry.

The permanent montage is expected to serve both as a tribute to aviation pioneers and an educational platform for passengers, industry professionals and young Nigerians.

It is scheduled to be formally unveiled at MMA2 on Friday, September 4, by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo.

The unveiling will be followed by the main induction ceremony in Ikeja, Lagos, where NAHF will also launch its first publication, Aviation Achievers.
