Popular Nigerian TikToker, Amadou Elizabeth, better known as Jarvis, has spoken emotionally about her mother’s worsening health and the pressure she faces as a public figure on social media.

In a viral video shared by hushbobby_media on Instagram on Wednesday, the content creator revealed that her mother is seriously ill, adding that her biggest fear is not just the illness itself but how social media users might react if they discover it.

Jarvis explained that she worries people could secretly record her mother in her vulnerable state and use the footage to attack her online. According to her, the internet can be unforgiving, especially toward public figures, and she fears being unfairly judged.

She said critics might accuse her of neglect, questioning why her mother is sick despite her apparent financial success. However, Jarvis stressed that her mother’s condition has gone beyond what money can fix.

“At this point, money can’t solve it,” she said, adding that only faith, destiny, and God can determine the outcome.

The TikToker also paid tribute to her mother, describing her as a strong woman who single-handedly raised her children without support from their father. She noted that her mother fought hard to protect and provide for the family, despite the challenges of raising children alone.

Speaking further, Jarvis opened up about her strained relationship with her father, who is from Senegal. She recalled that he used to affectionately call her “Aminata” during her early childhood before communication suddenly stopped. Since then, she said she has been the one trying to reconnect, even travelling to Senegal in search of him.

Her emotional revelation has sparked conversations online about the pressure influencers face, family privacy, and the harsh judgments often passed on social media.

Meanwhile, Jarvis recently confirmed that she has ended her relationship with fellow influencer and livestreamer Hamzat Habeeb, popularly known as Peller, following a car crash incident that occurred during one of his livestreams.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
