MTN Uganda’s mobile money division, MoMo, has opened new office facilities aimed at improving staff experience and strengthening their operational efficiency.

The expansion reflects the company’s continued growth in Uganda’s fast-evolving digital financial services sector, where mobile money has become a key part of everyday transactions for millions of users.

According to the company, the new offices are designed to create a more modern and collaborative working environment while supporting the increasing operational demands of the business.

MoMo has become one of the major drivers of digital finance in Uganda, enabling users to send money, pay bills, purchase goods, and access other financial services through mobile platforms.

Industry experts say investments in workplace infrastructure often play an important role in employee productivity, innovation, and overall business performance especially in technology-driven sectors where operational efficiency is critical.

The new office development also signals MTN Uganda’s confidence in the long-term growth potential of mobile money services as digital payments continue expanding across Africa.

Over the past few years, mobile money adoption has accelerated significantly, driven by increased smartphone usage, financial inclusion efforts, and the growing shift toward cashless transactions.

Analysts note that telecom companies are increasingly investing not only in customer-facing technology but also in internal systems and work environments that support scaling operations.

As MoMo Uganda continues to grow, the new office facilities are expected to help strengthen service delivery, employee engagement, and operational coordination within the company.
