Religious organization holds regional humanitarian outreach, providing financial grants to indigent women and educational support to outstanding students across communities in Ondo State

The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) has launched a comprehensive empowerment and educational support program for residents of Ondo State, distributing financial grants and academic scholarships to vulnerable families.

The philanthropic initiative, spearheaded by the church's welfare directorate, was held during a regional outreach program in Akure, drawing community leaders, beneficiaries, and religious dignitaries.

According to church leadership, the empowerment phase targeted struggling market women, widows, and small-scale traders, providing them with cash grants designed to stabilize and expand their micro-enterprises.

In addition to economic support, the organization awarded scholarships and distributed educational materials, including school uniforms and textbooks, to dozens of indigent pupils drawn from various local primary and secondary schools.

The officiating ministers emphasized that the outreach aligns with the spiritual and social mandate of the ministry to alleviate poverty, support vulnerable households, and invest in the future of the younger generation.

Beneficiaries and local community representatives expressed profound appreciation to the General Overseer, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, and the church leadership for the timely intervention, noting that the assistance will significantly ease economic pressures on many households.

State government representatives commended the religious body for complementing public sector welfare initiatives, urging other faith-based organizations and corporate entities to emulate the gesture to foster grassroots development.
