MOST UNDERRATED THREAT’: NEW REPORT EXPOSES LINK BETWEEN TOXIC CHEMICALS AND DEADLY DISEASES
A new global report warns that toxic chemicals in our food, water, and air are causing serious health problems like cancer, Alzheimer’s, infertility, and obesity.
The report, called The Invisible Tsunami, says this is one of the biggest but most overlooked threats to human health.
Over 3,600 man-made chemicals — including PFAS, also known as “forever chemicals” — were found in people all over the world.
These chemicals can harm fertility, lower sperm count, and increase the risk of cancer. Some pesticides are linked to childhood cancers, especially when babies are exposed before birth.
The report also says chemical pollution has gone beyond safe levels. Almost everyone in the world breathes polluted air, and many people are exposed to dangerous chemicals through everyday products.
Experts are calling for urgent global action to better control chemical use and protect people and the environment.
