British YouTuber and BMX rider, Ryan Taylor, has opened up about his short-lived engagement to Nigerian disc jockey and billionaire heiress, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy.

Speaking on the Ladders Podcast, the 32-year-old influencer reflected on their relationship and shared insights into what led to their breakup.

Taylor, who proposed to DJ Cuppy in December 2022, barely a month after they began dating, explained that certain underlying issues created distance between them.

He also claimed that the entertainer displayed a lack of interest in working with Nigerians in some professional settings.

“Is it weird that I told you she didn’t like Nigerians? She came into my business and didn’t even want Nigerian staff,” Taylor said.

The British content creator further disclosed that there were no contracts or non-disclosure agreements between them, emphasizing that he left the relationship with valuable lessons rather than regrets.

“To be honest, what I got from that was lessons. Everything happens for a reason. Do I regret it? No. Lesson learned. Next!
I learned that money is not everything, but not having it is,” he added.

DJ Cuppy and Ryan Taylor’s engagement generated excitement online in December 2022, shortly after they met during the Gumball 3000 rally.

However, by mid-2023, fans noticed that the pair had unfollowed each other on Instagram, sparking speculation that their relationship had ended.
