Former Super Eagles midfielder, John Mikel Obi, has shared his prediction for Chelsea’s Premier League finish this season.

Speaking on his podcast, Mikel Obi admitted that Chelsea are unlikely to challenge for the title, citing a lack of experience in winning the league. However, he believes the team has what it takes to secure a top-four finish.

“I think we’re not going to win the league this season. I think we just lack a bit more experience in terms of winning the league. But I think top four should be the aim this season. But listen, if we’re there, we’re there,” he said.

Chelsea currently sit third on the table with 20 points after 11 matches, six points behind leaders Arsenal, whom they will face after the November international break.

Mikel Obi’s prediction comes as Chelsea aims to strengthen their position among the top clubs in the Premier League and secure a Champions League spot for next season.
