MBAPPE DEFENDS LAMINE YAMAL: “STOP TALKING ABOUT HIS PERSONAL LIFE”
Mbappe Urges Public to Respect Lamine Yamal’s Privacy Amid Ongoing Rumors
Real Madrid star and France captain Kylian Mbappe has called on fans and the media to stop focusing on the personal life of Barcelona’s teenage sensation Lamine Yamal.
Speaking ahead of France’s World Cup qualifier against Azerbaijan on Friday night, Mbappe described Yamal as an exceptional footballer but reminded people that he is still very young and deserves privacy.
“People talk a lot about his personal life. I think they should leave him alone,” Mbappe told Movistar.
“In football, he is a great player, but in life, he is an 18-year-old kid.”
In recent weeks, the young Spanish international has been in the spotlight over reports of his alleged relationship with a 30-year-old influencer, Fati Vázquez, during his summer vacation. The story sparked widespread media discussion and online speculation.
Mbappe’s comments reflect growing concern among players about the media pressure placed on young footballers, especially those who rise to fame early. Yamal, who has already made waves with his performances for both Barcelona and Spain, continues to draw attention both on and off the pitch.
