MASSIVE TURNOUT AS OYO APC YOUTHS MARCH FOR TINUBU’S 2027 RE-ELECTION
The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth League has pledged its unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, reaffirming commitment to his Renewed Hope Agenda.
The declaration came during a Loyalty Walk held in Ibadan on Saturday, which drew hundreds of young party members from all 33 local government areas of the state.
Led by the state coordinator, Ayobami Dagilogba, the rally turned major streets of Ibadan into a vibrant display of solidarity, as enthusiastic youths marched to show confidence in the Tinubu administration and the APC’s leadership.
Dagilogba described the event as “a resounding message of commitment” to the President’s vision and a demonstration of the youth wing’s readiness to secure the APC’s victory in 2027.
“This walk goes beyond a political rally; it is a declaration of faith in the Renewed Hope vision of President Tinubu and our resolve to consolidate its progress in Oyo State and across Nigeria. By God’s grace, we are confident that APC will record total victory in 2027,” he stated.
He further noted that the youth league would intensify grassroots mobilisation and continue to strengthen support for the party across the state, describing young people as the “driving force of progressive politics.”
The event, widely seen as a symbol of unity among APC youths in Oyo State, highlighted their shared determination to stand by President Tinubu and the party’s leadership in promoting sustainable development and good governance.
President Tinubu, who will contest the 2027 presidential election on the APC platform, defeated former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party in 2023. Both Atiku and Obi are being speculated as potential contenders in the forthcoming election.
