MARRIED WOMAN CRIES OUT AS ABROAD-BASED HUSBAND INSTALLS CCTV TO MONITOR HER EVERY MOVE
A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to express frustration after her husband, who lives abroad, allegedly installed CCTV cameras all over their home to monitor her daily activities.
According to the woman, the cameras were set up solely to track her movements. She lamented that her husband keeps an eye on her round the clock and even interrupts her whenever she tries to record TikTok dance videos.
“He watches everything I do, including the times I’m making TikTok videos. Anytime I start dancing, he shouts at me through the camera,” she complained in Pidgin English, adding, “No marry man wey dey abroad. I don tire, Chineke.”
Her outcry has sparked reactions online, with many sympathising with her situation while others argued that the husband’s actions showed insecurity and a lack of trust in the marriage.
The viral video has since stirred conversations about privacy, trust, and the challenges faced by couples in long-distance marriages.
