MAN UTD RULE OUT SIGNING SERGIO RAMOS
Manchester United have ruled out the possibility of signing Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos in the January transfer window.
Reports had suggested that the Red Devils were considering a surprise move for Ramos after the veteran defender recently became a free agent. Ramos left Mexican club Monterrey earlier this month following the expiry of his contract.
However, according to ESPN, Manchester United have “no interest” in signing the 39-year-old and are not pursuing a deal to bring him to Manchester.
Ramos boasts an illustrious career, having won one World Cup, two European Championships, four UEFA Champions League titles, and five La Liga titles.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are expected to target other players in the January transfer window to strengthen manager Ruben Amorim’s squad for the second half of the season.
