MAN UTD CONFIRM LOAN MOVES FOR HARRY AMASS AND JADON SANCHO
Manchester United wrapped up transfer deadline day with two key loan deals, confirming the exits of Harry Amass and Jadon Sancho for the 2025/26 season.
The club announced that promising left-back Harry Amass has joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan. This marks the teenager’s first loan spell away from Old Trafford. Amass, who turned 18 this year, made his senior debut for United on his birthday, coming on as a substitute in a Premier League away victory at Leicester City. The loan is expected to give him valuable first-team experience in the Championship.
Meanwhile, United also confirmed that winger Jadon Sancho will spend the season at Aston Villa. The Birmingham side will cover Sancho’s loan fee and 80% of his wages while he plays at Villa Park. Sancho is currently in the final year of his United contract, though the club has the option to extend it by another year.
The two moves highlight United’s strategy of developing young talent while also creating opportunities for senior players to rediscover their best form elsewhere. Fans will be watching closely to see how Amass adapts to regular football and whether Sancho can reignite his career under Unai Emery at Villa.
