LIQUIDCREST TARGETS MSME LENDING AFTER BANK REBRANDING DRIVE
LiquidCrest Bank has reaffirmed its commitment to deepening lending to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) following a successful rebranding and strategic repositioning exercise aimed at enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.
The bank’s Managing Director, Mrs. Aisha Abdullahi, disclosed this during a media briefing, noting that the rebranding initiative has strengthened its digital platforms and product offerings tailored for small businesses. “MSMEs are the backbone of our economy. We are leveraging technology and innovative credit models to provide them with easier access to finance,” she said.
LiquidCrest plans to roll out flexible loan products, digital credit assessment tools, and capacity-building programmes to support MSME growth in sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, and services. The bank has already disbursed significant facilities under its existing SME-focused schemes.
The rebranding drive, which included upgraded branch aesthetics, enhanced mobile banking features, and improved customer service protocols, has been well-received by clients.
Industry observers view the move as a positive step towards addressing the persistent financing gap for small businesses in Nigeria. LiquidCrest aims to expand its MSME portfolio significantly in the coming year.
