Barcelona have been hit with a major setback just days before their Joan Gamper Trophy final clash with Italian side Como. Star striker Robert Lewandowski has been ruled out after suffering a hamstring injury in his left thigh.

The Polish forward picked up the problem ahead of Sunday’s game, meaning manager Hansi Flick will have to reshuffle his attacking options. With Lewandowski sidelined, Flick is expected to turn to either Ferran Torres or Marcus Rashford to lead the line at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.

This injury blow comes after Barcelona wrapped up their pre-season tour of Asia, where they faced Vissel Kobe, FC Seoul, and Daegu FC.
