LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE APPOINTS ADENIPEKUN AS REGISTRAR AND CEO
The Institute of Leadership Coaching and Strategy has appointed Sunday Adenipekun as its new Registrar and Chief Executive Officer.
Adenipekun assumed office on October 5 following approval by the institute’s governing council after a recruitment process.
He previously served as Director of the Academy at the Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria and also held acting Director-General and Chief Executive positions at the organisation.
The institute said his experience in governance, institutional development and membership-based organisations would support its plans for further growth.
The appointment is part of changes to the institute’s leadership structure. Its pioneer Registrar and Chief Executive, Ifeoma Adeniyi, has been elevated to Second Vice President.
The governing council also appointed three new committee chairmen: Morounfoluwa Oluwatosin Oyebola for the Membership Experience Committee, Abdulwarees-Solanke Monsurat Modupe for the Finance and General Purpose Committee, and Kolawole Akintunji Oyeyemi for Collaboration and Strategy.
President and Chairman of Council, Olasunkade Azeez, urged the new appointees to contribute their expertise to the institute’s development.
The institute said Adenipekun brings 38 years of post-qualification experience, including work in membership organisations and a federal government development finance institution.
