Lagos State University has denied allegations that some 2025 Law graduates were excluded from its mobilisation list for the Nigerian Law School.

The university said its records showed that all graduates who had completed their programmes and met the eligibility requirements had been mobilised for the next stage of their professional training.

The controversy followed complaints from some members of the 2025 graduating set, who alleged that students from the 2026 graduating set were mobilised ahead of them.

The affected graduates claimed that some eligible members of their set were missing from the mobilisation list and called for an independent review of the process.

However, LASU said records at its Faculty of Law confirmed that eligible graduates had been duly mobilised.

The university also stated that the Registrar had forwarded the list of mobilised graduates to the Nigerian Law School.

LASU advised any graduate who remains concerned about their status to visit the Office of the Registrar to confirm their mobilisation details and seek clarification.

The university said it remained committed to ensuring that qualified graduates were not unnecessarily delayed in progressing to professional legal training.

The development comes as the Council of Legal Education continues to regulate admission and professional training requirements for aspiring lawyers in Nigeria.
