LAGOS UPGRADES TAKWA BAY PHC TO BOOST HEALTHCARE ACCESS IN COASTAL COMMUNITIES
The Lagos State Government has upgraded the Takwa Bay Primary Health Centre to improve healthcare delivery for residents of the coastal community.
Officials said the renovation and upgrade of the facility will enhance access to quality healthcare services for people living in the island settlement and surrounding communities.
The state government noted that the facility has been equipped with modern medical equipment and improved infrastructure to support maternal care, immunisation, and general outpatient services.
According to health officials, the upgrade is part of the government’s effort to strengthen primary healthcare across the state.
Residents of the area welcomed the development, describing it as a major relief for people who previously had to travel long distances to access medical services.
