LAGOS NEIGHBOURHOOD SAFETY CORPS OPENS RECRUITMENT
The Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps has commenced an online recruitment exercise for Neighbourhood Safety Officers across all local government areas of the state, as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots security and community policing.
The development was disclosed on the official website of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA), where details of the available positions, eligibility requirements, and application procedures were published. The information was obtained on Monday.
According to the agency, the ongoing recruitment is for Neighbourhood Safety Officer (Group B) positions and is open to qualified applicants from all local government areas of Lagos State on a full-time basis.
“Join our community policing initiative to enhance safety and security at the grassroots level,” the agency stated in the recruitment notice.
The LNSA outlined basic eligibility requirements for prospective applicants. These include possession of a minimum of SSCE/WAEC qualification, being within the age bracket of 18 to 30 years, and being physically fit for the demands of the job. Applicants must also have a clean criminal record, as part of measures to ensure integrity and professionalism within the corps.
Explaining the application process, the agency stated that interested candidates are required to apply online through the official recruitment portal.
“Apply: Complete the online application form with required documents,” the agency said.
It added that applicants who meet the requirements will be invited to the next stage of the recruitment process.
“Assessment: Participate in screening tests and interviews as required,” the statement noted.
According to the agency, successful candidates who pass the assessment stage will proceed to the final phase.
“Join LNSA: Complete onboarding and begin your career with us,” the notice added.
The agency advised applicants to ensure that all information provided during the application process is accurate and complete, warning that false or misleading details could lead to disqualification.
