LAGOS FATHER SEEKS JUSTICE AS NINE-MONTH-OLD TWINS DIE 24 HOURS AFTER IMMUNISATION

A Lagos-based father, Samuel Alozie, has called for justice following the death of his nine-month-old identical twin sons, Testimony and Timothy, who allegedly died about 24 hours after receiving routine immunisation at the Ajangbadi Primary Health Centre in Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State.

The incident gained public attention on Wednesday after Alozie, popularly known as Promise Samuel on TikTok, shared a video showing the lifeless bodies of his twin boys in separate body bags. In the video, he alleged that the injections administered at the health facility were responsible for their deaths.

“This is the result of the immunisation… they killed my twin boys with injections,” he wrote in the caption of the viral post.

In a follow-up video shared on Thursday via his TikTok handle, promise.samuel009, the grieving father narrated how the tragedy unfolded. He said he took the twins for routine immunisation on the morning of December 24, 2025.

According to him, the children became extremely weak shortly after the injections and were unable to eat, play, or behave as they normally would. He said a nurse at the health centre advised him to administer paracetamol if the babies developed a fever.

“It happened that the immunisation was conducted on the 24th of December, in the morning. And on the morning of 25th December, they died,” Alozie said.

He explained that despite giving the twins paracetamol and bathing them in cold water in an attempt to reduce their temperature, their condition did not improve.

“After the injection, they were very weak. We gave them paracetamol as instructed, but it didn’t solve anything. My wife even bathed them in cold water. On the 25th, the two of them died at the same time,” he said.

Alozie added that the injections appeared to have left the babies unable to talk, eat, or play as they used to before their sudden deaths.

“The worst part is that the drug weakened both of them to the extent that they couldn’t eat or play as usual. They just became unusually weak,” he lamented.

The bereaved father has called on the relevant health authorities to investigate the incident and ensure accountability, insisting that he wants justice for his children.

As of the time of filing this report, officials of the Lagos State Ministry of Health had yet to issue an official response on the matter.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
