LAGOS DECLARES WAR ON BULLYING, CULTISM, AND GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE IN SCHOOLS

The Lagos State Government has intensified efforts to combat bullying, cultism, and gender-based violence in schools, reaffirming its commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment for students.

Education officials said the initiative forms part of a broader strategy to promote discipline, protect students’ rights, and improve the overall quality of education across the state.

According to the government, awareness campaigns, counselling programmes, and stricter enforcement of school regulations will be implemented to address harmful behaviours among students.
