LAGOS CELEBRATES STUDENT’S TALENT, RENEWS INCLUSIVE EDUCATION COMMITMENT

The Lagos State Government on Wednesday celebrated the outstanding talent of a student with special needs while reaffirming its dedication to inclusive education.

The event, organised by the Ministry of Education, highlighted the achievements of the young student who has excelled in academics and creative arts despite living with a disability.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration presented the student with an award of excellence and a scholarship package to support his continued education.

Special Adviser on Education, Mr. Jamiu Alli-Balogun, said the celebration demonstrates the state’s resolve to create equal opportunities for every child.

“We are committed to building an education system that leaves no child behind. Inclusive education is not just a policy but a practical reality in Lagos,” he stated.

The government used the occasion to renew its pledge to improve infrastructure, train more special education teachers, and provide necessary learning aids in public schools across the state.
