Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as Kwam 1, has intervened in the long-running disagreement between two prominent figures in the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, and Alhaji Sego. The intervention resulted in a reconciliation between the two NURTW leaders, bringing an end to a dispute that had attracted attention within the transport union and among their supporters.

The peace meeting was facilitated by Kwam 1 as part of efforts to settle the differences between the two men and restore a cordial relationship. The Fuji musician, who has maintained relationships with prominent figures in the Lagos transport and political circles, reportedly played a central role in bringing both sides together for discussions aimed at resolving the disagreement.

MC Oluomo, who currently serves as the President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, has remained an influential figure within the union and in Lagos transport affairs. Sego is also a notable figure within the NURTW structure, and the disagreement between the two men had continued for some time before the latest intervention. Details of the issues that led to their rift were not fully disclosed in the report.

The reconciliation comes amid continuing efforts by stakeholders within the transport sector to maintain unity among members and prevent disagreements from affecting the activities of the union. The meeting between the two leaders provided an opportunity for them to resolve their differences and move forward, with Kwam 1 acting as a mediator in the process.

Photographs from the meeting showed Kwam 1 alongside MC Oluomo and Sego as the parties reached an understanding. The development marks a fresh attempt to restore a working relationship between the two NURTW figures after their prolonged disagreement, while the details of any specific terms reached during the reconciliation were not made public.
