Kun Khalifat FC’s technical adviser, Emmanuel Osuigwe, has assured fans that the team will continue to strengthen as the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season progresses

The Owerri-based side secured their first win of the season on Sunday after defeating El-Kanemi Warriors 3-1 at the Enyimba Stadium in Aba.

Reacting after the game, Osuigwe acknowledged that while the team is still new to the league, steady progress and corrections will come with experience.

“It’s a new team that is just coming up in the NPFL, there must be mistakes. The more we progress in the league, the more mistakes will be corrected,” he said.

So far, Kun Khalifat FC have collected four points from their opening four matches.

Their next challenge will be an away clash against Shooting Stars in Ibadan, where they will aim to build on their recent momentum.
