KEBBI POLICE TAKE DELIVERY OF 13 ARMOURED VEHICLES, PATROL TRUCKS
Kebbi State Police Command has taken delivery of 13 armoured vehicles along with additional patrol trucks to enhance security operations across the state.
The Commissioner of Police, Bello Sani, confirmed the development on Monday, noting that the vehicles were provided by the Force Headquarters.
Sani explained that the new assets would strengthen the command’s operational capacity, expand patrol coverage, and improve response times to security incidents in both urban and rural communities.
He added that the vehicles would be deployed to areas identified as security hotspots. The vehicles were formally handed over to the state government upon their deployment to the command.
Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, who received the vehicles, reaffirmed the state’s commitment to supporting the police and other security agencies in tackling criminal activities.
The police command also urged residents to cooperate with security personnel by providing timely and reliable information to aid ongoing operations.
This deployment is part of broader efforts by the Nigeria Police Force to strengthen logistics and improve policing in states facing security challenges.
