KEBBI APC CHAIRMAN DISMISSES ADC AS POLITICALLY IRRELEVANT
ADC Has No Political Weight in Kebbi – APC Chairman
The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State, Abubakar Kana, has downplayed the presence of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the state, describing it as politically insignificant.
Speaking during the flag-off of fertiliser and farm input distribution in Kaoje town, Bagudu Local Government Area, Kana said the ADC is only being promoted by a handful of “immature youths” and has no real influence in Kebbi politics.
Kana also turned his criticism inward, faulting some APC members holding key government positions for allegedly abandoning their communities. He accused them of relocating to the state capital and neglecting the needs of their constituents.
He warned that if such behaviour continued, the party might recommend their removal from office.
The remarks have stirred conversations in political circles, with some analysts noting that while ADC’s presence in Kebbi is small, dismissing opposition parties entirely can sometimes backfire in politics.
