The Katsina State Police Command has arrested a 35-year-old man, Shabi Rabi’u, for allegedly killing a woman and her 10-month-old baby over a paternity dispute in Sheme village, located in Faskari Local Government Area.
According to a statement released on Thursday by the Police Public Relations Officer, Abubakar Aliyu, the suspect was apprehended following police investigations that linked him to the shocking incident. Upon his arrest, Rabi’u reportedly confessed that he had been involved in a disagreement with the victim regarding the true paternity of the child.
