KANO POLICE NAB NINE OVER MOTORCYCLE THEFT, RECOVER STOLEN BIKES

The Kano State Police Command has arrested nine individuals suspected of stealing motorcycles as part of its recently launched initiative, Operation Kukan Kura.
In addition, two individuals who attempted to purchase the stolen motorcycles were also taken into custody.
The development was announced by the Command’s spokesperson, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, via a brief statement on his official Facebook page.
“#KukanKura: AKS Operation Kukan Kura Police have arrested 9 suspected motorcycle thieves and 2 buyers. 8 motorcycles were recovered from their possession,” he posted.
SP Kiyawa added that further information on the arrests will be shared with the public in due course.
