KANO CP HAILS PHILANTHROPIST FOR RENOVATING POLICE DIVISION

The Kano State Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Bakori, has commended philanthropist Hajia Hajara Abdullahi for renovating and furnishing the Gwale Police Division in Kano metropolis.

Bakori praised Abdullahi for supporting the police and improving the working environment for officers and personnel at the division.

The commissioner said contributions from individuals and organisations could complement government efforts to improve security infrastructure and strengthen policing at the community level.

He noted that a conducive working environment could help boost the morale of police personnel and improve their ability to serve residents effectively.

Bakori also appreciated Abdullahi's commitment to community development, describing the renovation as an example of responsible support for public institutions.

The police chief urged other well-meaning individuals, businesses, and organisations to support security agencies through lawful and constructive initiatives.

He stressed that maintaining peace and security requires cooperation between security agencies and members of the communities they serve.

Community stakeholders said improved police facilities could strengthen the relationship between officers and residents by creating a more accessible environment for reporting concerns and seeking assistance.

They also called for continued investment in police infrastructure, equipment, training, and personnel welfare.

The renovation of the Gwale Police Division is expected to improve the facility's capacity to support police operations and community engagement in the area.
