According to NIPR officials, Governor Abba Yusuf has directed the state chapter to submit a formal request for land for the proposed facility.
The governor also confirmed Kano State’s participation in the World Public Relations Forum, which is expected to take place in Nigeria.
The proposed facility is expected to provide a permanent base for NIPR activities in Kano and support the institute’s professional programmes in the state.
The development comes as the institute prepares for the international public relations gathering and seeks greater institutional presence across the country.
