KALU DISMISSES TINUBU HEALTH RUMOURS, CONFIRMS JAPAN TRIP AND BUSY FOREIGN SCHEDULE
Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has dismissed speculation about President Bola Tinubu’s health, confirming that the president is preparing for an official state visit to Japan.
In a video posted on his Facebook page, the senator representing Abia North said the president’s recent absence from some public events has fueled unfounded rumours about his wellbeing.
“The Nigerian people and politicians should stop this rumour and focus on what we are doing. We have achieved a lot and will continue to stay on track,” Kalu said.
He explained that even if someone falls ill, they can recover and still carry out their duties. According to him, Tinubu’s itinerary includes stops in Brazil before returning to Nigeria and later attending the United Nations General Assembly in September.
The presidency has also reassured the public that the president is healthy and working from home.
Kalu urged Nigerians to pay attention to the achievements of the current administration rather than dwell on speculation.
