Fuji music star, King Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, attracted attention after he prostrated before former President Olusegun Obasanjo during the 60th birthday celebration of the Olota of Ota, Oba Professor Abdulkabir Adewale Obalanlege.
The moment occurred while K1 was performing at the royal celebration held in honour of the traditional ruler. Obasanjo later joined the Fuji musician on stage, prompting K1 to pause his performance and fully prostrate in the traditional Yoruba manner of showing respect to an elder.
Obasanjo acknowledged the gesture by patting K1 on the back before taking the microphone and addressing guests at the event. The former president also greeted the celebrant and joined in the festivities.
