A Kaduna-based agency boss, Nasir Sani, has said that Democracy Day represents the true spirit of sacrifice, resilience, and democratic struggle in Nigeria.

He made the remark during a June 12 commemoration event, where he reflected on the importance of democratic governance in shaping national development.

Sani noted that the lessons of June 12 should inspire leaders to prioritize the welfare of citizens and strengthen democratic institutions.

He also called on Nigerians to uphold the values of justice, fairness, and accountability in governance.
