JAMB RELEASES STEP-BY-STEP REGISTRATION GUIDELINES FOR 2026 UTME
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the registration guidelines for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
According to a statement on JAMB’s official X handle on Sunday, candidates must ensure that their personal information—including National Identification Number (NIN), email, and A-Level results—is accurate before generating a profile code.
Candidates are advised to send their 11-digit NIN to 55019 or 66019 (e.g., NIN 00000011111 to 55019/66019).
It was noted that once a profile code is generated, it cannot be altered, and biodata will be automatically retrieved from the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
After generating the profile code, candidates can visit the nearest JAMB office or any approved CBT centre to complete their registration.
E-PINs should only be purchased through authorised channels, including banks, online platforms, or approved vendors at registration centres.
