IYABO OJO WARNS: HOLD LIZZY ANJORIN RESPONSIBLE IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO ME OR MY KIDS
Popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has taken to social media to raise an alarm over her safety and that of her children, pointing fingers at her longtime rival, Lizzy Anjorin.
In an Instagram live session on Friday, Iyabo told her followers to hold Lizzy responsible should anything happen to her or her kids. This comes just days after Iyabo’s office was razed by fire, sparking concerns and speculation.
Iyabo’s outburst follows Lizzy Anjorin’s claims in a viral video that a defamation lawsuit filed against her by Iyabo had been struck out by the court. Lizzy also accused Iyabo of keeping company with people who allegedly bully her online.
However, Iyabo dismissed Lizzy’s narrative, clarifying that the case was only at the stage of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and had not even started properly in court.
“If anything happens to me or my children, hold Lizzy Anjorin responsible. We have not started the case yet — that is just ADR. The judge only wanted peace,” Iyabo explained.
She also addressed Lizzy’s claims about her friendships: “Lizzy, we aren’t friends and I do not owe you any explanation about who I choose to associate with.”
This heated exchange comes shortly after Iyabo revealed she had been invited by the police over allegations of cyberbullying.
For now, many fans are urging both actresses to resolve their differences peacefully, hoping the matter does not escalate further.
