Nollywood actress and producer Iyabo Ojo has hosted a grand homecoming celebration in Lagos to welcome her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, and their newborn son, Rakeem, back to Nigeria.

The joyous family arrival was met with traditional drummers, singers, and dancers, filling the atmosphere with vibrant music and excitement.

In a heartwarming video shared on Iyabo Ojo’s Instagram page on Tuesday, captioned “Welcome to Nigeria #rakeem_mk”, family members and close friends joined the celebration. Among them was entrepreneur and Priscilla’s godmother, Chioma Ikokwu, popularly known as Chioma GoodHair.

The family’s visit to Nigeria follows an elaborate 40-day celebration and naming ceremony held earlier this month in Tanzania for baby Rakeem.

Priscilla also took to her Instagram Story to share moments from their journey from Tanzania to Nigeria, expressing gratitude to her mother and godmother.

“Rakeem is lucky. Thank you Glamma and Godmother #iyaboojofespris and #chiomagoodhair,” she wrote.

According to DAILY POST, Priscilla welcomed her baby boy in Canada on August 24, 2025, before returning to Tanzania, where Juma Jux hosted a lavish reception in their honour.

The Lagos celebration marks baby Rakeem’s first visit to Nigeria, symbolizing a special family reunion and cultural welcome.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
