IWOBI: FULHAM AIMING FOR EUROPEAN FOOTBALL NEXT SEASON
Nigerian international Alex Iwobi has set his sights on helping Fulham secure a European ticket at the end of the 2025/26 Premier League season.
The Whites came close last season, recording their highest-ever Premier League points tally, but narrowly missed out on a European spot. Their journey in the FA Cup also ended in the quarter-finals, where they lost to eventual winners Crystal Palace.
Iwobi, who previously featured in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League with Arsenal, admitted he is eager to return to continental action.
“Everyone wants to play in Europe. I have played in Europe before – I want a taste of it again,” the midfielder told Standard Sport.
With manager Marco Silva continuing to build a competitive squad, Iwobi believes Fulham have what it takes to make history by finally breaking into European competitions.
