ITF OPENS FUEL STATION IN PLATEAU

The Industrial Training Fund has commissioned a new fuel station with a storage capacity of 47,600 litres in Plateau State.

The facility is expected to support the operations of the agency while also improving access to petroleum products for staff and other authorised users.

The ITF said the project formed part of its efforts to strengthen its infrastructure and improve the management of its resources.

Officials at the commissioning said the facility would help reduce dependence on external fuel stations and provide a more reliable source of petroleum products for the agency’s activities.

The project is also expected to contribute to more efficient operations by ensuring that fuel is readily available for official vehicles and other equipment.

The ITF management said it remained focused on developing infrastructure that would support its mandate of providing industrial skills training and promoting workforce development.

The agency also stressed the importance of proper maintenance and effective management of the facility to ensure that it continues to serve its intended purpose.

Stakeholders at the event commended the initiative and encouraged the ITF to continue investing in projects that would improve its operational capacity.

The development comes as public institutions increasingly seek ways to manage operational costs and improve the efficiency of their resources.
