Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has asserted that the country’s ongoing security challenges are largely man-made.

In a post shared on his official Facebook page, he alleged that some Nigerian politicians sponsor acts of violence and terrorism to advance their personal political interests.

According to him, politicians who lose elections often incite unrest and mobilize individuals to create instability in a bid to gain cheap political advantage.

Despite these concerns, Igbokwe expressed confidence that those attempting to destabilize the country will not succeed, stressing that their efforts will ultimately fail.

He wrote, “The so-called insecurity in Nigeria is man-made. When misguided individuals lose elections, they sponsor uneducated youths to create unrest and score cheap political points. Evil cannot triumph over good. They will fail.”

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
