INGENTIA ENERGIES NAMES NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR
Indigenous oil and gas company Ingentia Energies Limited has appointed Engr Victor Agbaroji as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
Agbaroji assumed office on September 1, 2026, following the completion of the six-month tenure of Engr Charles Odita, who served as interim managing director from March to August. The leadership transition took place in Lagos.
Odita described his tenure as productive and expressed confidence that Agbaroji would build on the progress made by the company and drive its next phase of growth.
In his acceptance remarks, Agbaroji said his immediate priority would be to consolidate the company’s gains while focusing on safety, talent development, innovation and cost efficiency.
He also pledged to strengthen the company’s contribution to Nigeria’s energy sector and support efforts to increase domestic crude oil production.
According to the company, Agbaroji brings more than 31 years of experience across the oil and gas industry. He began his career as a well-test engineer before joining Shell, where he held several technical and management positions covering operations, petroleum engineering, planning and economics.
He later moved into Nigeria’s independent oil sector, providing technical advisory and project support to emerging energy companies.
The company expressed confidence that his experience would help strengthen its operations and support sustainable growth.
