INFLUENCER ROLLING RAY DIES AT 28, DAYS BEFORE HIS 29TH BIRTHDAY
American influencer and reality TV personality, Juan “Raymond” Harper, better known as Rolling Ray, has sadly passed away at the age of 28, just days before his 29th birthday.
The news was confirmed by his mother in a heartfelt post shared on Facebook on Wednesday.
“It is with a heavy, heavy heart that I let you know that my son Ray Ray (@Iamrollingray) has gone home to be with the Lord. I thank everyone who has called or texted. This is going to be a long road,” she wrote.
Rolling Ray first captured the internet’s attention with his comedic skits, later appearing in reality shows such as MTV’s Catfish Trolls and the LGBT dating show Bobby I Love You, Purrr. Known for his humor and charisma, he often referred to himself as “the most famous boy inna wheelchair.”
Ray lived with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) type 3, a rare genetic condition that causes muscle weakness and worsens over time. Despite this, he became a source of laughter, resilience, and inspiration to many of his fans.
Tributes have since poured in from across the internet, with fans and fellow influencers mourning his passing while celebrating the joy and light he brought to the world.
