INEC PRESENTS CERTIFICATES OF RETURN TO WINNERS OF JUNE 20 BY-ELECTIONS

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has presented certificates of return to candidates who emerged victorious in the June 20 by-elections held across various constituencies.

The presentation ceremony officially confirmed the winners as duly elected representatives, paving the way for them to assume their respective offices in accordance with electoral laws.

INEC officials stated that the issuance of certificates of return marks the conclusion of the electoral process, except in cases where election results are being challenged in court.
