Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe is celebrating Ramadan by embracing modesty and grace. The movie star shared photos of herself dressed in white, expressing that modesty, elegance, and meaningful beauty are her aspirations.

In her post, Aigbe prayed that her light always reflects Allah and that the holy month would soften hearts, strengthen faith, fill homes with peace, and bring abundant blessings. She wrote:

Speaking about her personal journey, Aigbe revealed that her love for her husband inspired her decision to convert to Islam. She described how love called to her, and how she cherished the bond they shared as friends before marriage.

Aigbe previously made headlines in 2024 when she openly discussed her relationship with married marketer Kazim Adeoti, who has four children from his first marriage. Despite public criticism, their relationship has remained strong.

Following her conversion, Aigbe adopted a Muslim name, Hajia Minnah, which her husband gave her and which means “Mercy… Gift from Allah.” To solidify her new faith, she performed Hajj with her husband and officially assumed the title of Hajia.

Reflecting on her spiritual journey, Mercy shared that she has learned how to pray and give through her husband’s guidance and continues to grow in her faith.

Recently, she was honored with the title Arowoshadinni by the ABD Azeez Islamic Foundation, a milestone she proudly shared on Instagram as she reintroduced herself with her new title.
