IMO COMMUNITY PARTNERS NDLEA, NAVY IN FIGHT AGAINST DRUG ABUSE
A community in Imo State has partnered with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and the Nigerian Navy to tackle rising drug abuse.
Officials said the collaboration is aimed at strengthening grassroots awareness, enforcement, and rehabilitation efforts.
According to stakeholders, the initiative will focus on educating youths about the dangers of drug use and reducing access to illicit substances.
Security agencies involved in the partnership said joint operations will also target trafficking networks in affected areas.
Community leaders expressed optimism that the collaboration will help reduce drug-related crimes and social challenges.
