Nollywood actress and mother of two, Adesua Etomi, recently took to Instagram to reflect on the journey of life and express deep appreciation for her husband, singer Banky W.

Sharing heartfelt photos and videos of their time together, Adesua described herself as “one of God’s strongest soldiers” and expressed gratitude for having her husband by her side through it all. Referring to him affectionately as her “boyfriend,” she wrote:

Just days earlier, the actress had commended Banky W for being a caring and supportive partner, especially since the birth of their second child. She encouraged single individuals to seek out kind-hearted spouses, highlighting how much easier her life has become thanks to her husband’s thoughtfulness. She praised him as “the best.”

Following the birth of their second child last year, Banky W shared a touching video of himself cooking and supporting his family, underscoring his belief that marriage should be a 100-100 effort, not 50-50.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2017, previously revealed they suffered a miscarriage involving twins before welcoming their first son in 2021.

In 2023, their marriage faced public scrutiny after a blogger alleged that Banky W had an affair and impregnated another woman, reportedly singer Niyola, who was once signed to his record label. The blog further claimed that Banky asked her to terminate the pregnancy, which she allegedly refused.

Despite the controversy, Adesua and Banky celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary later that year. Banky W marked the occasion with a video montage of their journey, expressing gratitude for Adesua’s love and support, and recalling the nerves he felt stepping into fatherhood and marriage.
