I’M IN NOLLYWOOD TO MAKE AN IMPACT, NOT JUST LOOK GOOD – OGECHUKWU ANASOR
Nollywood actress Ogechukwu Anasor says the industry is beginning to take notice of her talent beyond her appearance. According to her, producers and directors are increasingly recognizing her acting skills and casting her in more emotionally demanding roles.
“The calls are coming in, and the roles are getting deeper and more challenging — which I absolutely love,” she said. “Some of my recent films have caught the attention of filmmakers. People are starting to see that I’m not just a pretty face — I bring emotional depth and technical skill to my performances.”
Anasor also opened up about relationships, highlighting inconsistency, emotional manipulation, and dishonesty as major red flags. For her, emotional security and mutual respect are non-negotiables.
“If someone’s words don’t match their actions, that’s a red flag for me. I need emotional safety. If I feel more confused than loved, I’m out. And if someone doesn’t support my dreams or tries to dim my light, I can’t be with them,” she explained.
Speaking on marriage, Anasor described it as a beautiful commitment — but not one she’s in a hurry to make. “I believe in growing fully as a woman before dedicating myself to someone for life,” she noted.
As for her beauty, the actress credits inner peace as her secret. “I take care of my skin, yes — but the real glow comes from within,” she said.
