Social media comedian and streamer Carter Efe has declared himself “Carter Mayweather” after defeating street-hop artist Habeeb Badmus, popularly known as Portable, in a celebrity boxing match in Lagos.

Speaking during his post-fight interview at the “Chaos in the Ring 4” event held at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Efe dismissed comparisons to heavyweight boxing star Anthony Joshua.

“Who called me Anthony Joshua? My name is Carter Mayweather,” he said, drawing loud cheers from the crowd.

Efe, who likened himself to boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr., said he felt like an international star following the victory.

“I am feeling like an international world star,” he added.

The comedian delivered a dominant performance across three rounds, with all three judges scoring the bout 27–30 in his favour. He claimed he had control of the fight early on.

“The fight was so easy. By the first round, I had made his face swell up. By the second round, he was already shaking. Third round, he fell,” Efe said.

Portable, who previously defeated Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington to win two belts, had entered the ring hoping to extend his streak but fell short.

Following his win, Efe expressed ambitions to take his boxing career international.

“I just believed in God. If you believe in God, anything can happen. I want to try this again in an international way,” he said.

The victory also came with a financial boost, as Lagos socialite Emeka Okonkwo (E-Money) confirmed a N50 million reward for the winner.

Meanwhile, Portable rejected the outcome, claiming he was “robbed” and accusing Efe of using unfair tactics due to his height and reach.

Despite the loss, Portable downplayed the defeat, noting that the birth of his newborn son the same night was more important than any boxing title.

“My wife just gave birth to a bouncing baby boy. I value that more than a belt,” he said.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
