“i’d Choose You Again In Another Life” – Bimbo Ademoye Celebrates Her Father On His Birthday
Nollywood star Bimbo Ademoye is celebrating her beloved father as he marks another year.
Sharing a playful video of him on Instagram, the AMVCA-winning actress expressed deep affection and gratitude, stating there’s nothing she wouldn’t do for her family. She described her father as her hero, lifeline, best friend, protector, and “projector,” adding that she would still choose him as her dad in another lifetime.
Bimbo thanked her father for his countless sacrifices, for showering them with unconditional love, teaching them resilience and strength, and for always being ready to lend a hand. Reaffirming her love, she wished him a happy birthday with a heartfelt message.
“There’s absolutely nothing I wouldn’t do for family. Happy birthday to my hero, my lifeline, best friend, protector, and projector. If I had another life, I’d still choose you. Thank you for giving up so much for us. For pouring love into us so deeply that love and kindness are all we know. For instilling strength, resilience, perseverance, the value of hard work, and the spirit of giving back. I could go on and on, but even a whole book wouldn’t be enough. Happy birthday, my heart. I love you, Dad. We all do—including my online family. So I’m saying happy birthday on their behalf too.”
This isn’t the first time Bimbo has publicly expressed love for her father. A few months ago, she shared a touching prayer, calling him her safe place and recounting one of his most impactful pieces of advice. In her prayer, she asked God to preserve his life, even in his old age.
Back in June 2024, Bimbo also paid tribute to him on his birthday, praising his moral, emotional, and career influence in her life. She even admitted that her father has set a standard that might be difficult for her future husband to meet.
It will be recalled that when Bimbo won the AMVCA Best Actress award, she dedicated it to her father. She reminisced about how he took her to her first audition and waited six hours until it ended. According to her, the vibrant characters she brings to life on screen were born out of her upbringing in the hood.
