The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN) has challenged its members and other professionals to take a leading role in driving corporate transformation and good governance in the private and public sectors.

At its annual conference in Lagos, ICSAN President, Mrs. Funmi Babington-Ashaye, urged chartered secretaries and administrators to champion ethical practices, transparency, and innovation within organisations. “As governance professionals, we are uniquely positioned to influence positive change and ensure corporate sustainability,” she said.

The conference featured discussions on emerging trends in corporate governance, risk management, and the role of technology in modern administration. Participants were encouraged to update their skills and adapt to the evolving business landscape.

ICSAN also recognised outstanding professionals for their contributions to corporate excellence and ethical leadership.

The institute reaffirmed its commitment to producing competent professionals capable of navigating complex corporate environments and contributing to national development.
