The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has warned Nigerians against engaging in National Identification Number (NIN) fraud, stating that offenders risk up to seven years in prison.

 

The commission said it has intensified surveillance and enforcement to curb identity-related crimes.

 

Citizens were urged to safeguard their personal data and report suspicious activities to authorities.
