Afrobeats queen Tiwa Savage has finally spoken up about long-standing rumors that she once trolled her colleague, Wizkid, after their alleged fallout years ago.

For years, some social media users had pushed the narrative that Tiwa shaded Wizkid following speculations about their strained relationship. But the singer has now dismissed the claims as false.

The issue resurfaced after a Wizkid fan assured Tiwa of support from the Starboy FC. Another fan, however, countered, alleging she had previously mocked Wizkid. The matter escalated when someone asked XAI bot, Grok, whether Tiwa Savage had ever trolled Wizkid. The AI responded that there was no evidence to support such claims.

Reacting to the clarification, Tiwa Savage wrote:

“Thank you o, have never done that. But they have just ran with this narrative and I have just kept quiet.”

Tiwa Savage and Wizkid sparked heavy dating rumors in 2018 following their undeniable chemistry in the hit music video “Fever.” However, both artists have publicly stated that they were never romantically involved.

With her statement, Tiwa Savage has officially put the trolling rumors to rest, reminding fans that not every social media narrative reflects the truth.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
